Hook readers with an urgent CTA. A call to action button should be easy to find (read impossible to miss), be descriptive and drive a desired action. "Buy Now" works, but change it up with something like, "Shop our one-day sale!" CTAs should compliment the header and email copy.

Grow your list. Remove obsolete addresses as it will affect deliverability and ultimately your reputation. Add new names slowly and with permission from prospects. Segment large lists (by industry, company size, etc.) and craft relevant messages to improve open rates.

Send a follow-up campaign. An average of 70% of email recipients won't open on the first send. Boost ROI by changing up your subject line and resending the email (after a few days). Keep messages brief. Short messages are more likely to land in the Primary tab.
